Creamy Bacon Pasta



A hearty dish that can be ready in just 10 minutes. This creamy pasta is a family favorite and requires minimal ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 300 g spaghetti
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 240 g streaky smoked bacon, chopped
  • 170 g sundried tomatoes (in oil), drained and sliced
  • 200 g frozen peas
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 4 tbsp tomato puree
  • Sea salt and black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Boil the pasta according to package instructions.
  2. In a pan, fry the onions, garlic, and bacon until cooked.
  3. Add sundried tomatoes to the pan.
  4. For the last 5 minutes of cooking the pasta, add peas to the boiling water.
  5. Lower the heat and mix in tomato puree and cream cheese into the pan with bacon.
  6. Drain the pasta and peas, then combine everything in the pan. Stir well and serve.
