Creamy Bacon Pasta
A hearty dish that can be ready in just 10 minutes. This creamy pasta is a family favorite and requires minimal ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 300 g spaghetti
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 240 g streaky smoked bacon, chopped
- 170 g sundried tomatoes (in oil), drained and sliced
- 200 g frozen peas
- 200 g cream cheese
- 4 tbsp tomato puree
- Sea salt and black pepper
Instructions:
- Boil the pasta according to package instructions.
- In a pan, fry the onions, garlic, and bacon until cooked.
- Add sundried tomatoes to the pan.
- For the last 5 minutes of cooking the pasta, add peas to the boiling water.
- Lower the heat and mix in tomato puree and cream cheese into the pan with bacon.
- Drain the pasta and peas, then combine everything in the pan. Stir well and serve.
