Porchetta-Style Pork Kebabs Recipe
- 2 lbs pork shoulder, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 fennel bulb, trimmed and thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons fennel seeds
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Wooden skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade:
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, sliced onion, fennel, fennel seeds, rosemary, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Marinate the Pork:
- Add the pork cubes to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for more flavor).
- Preheat the Grill:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Assemble the Kebabs:
- Thread the marinated pork onto the soaked skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
- Grill the Kebabs:
- Place the kebabs on the grill and cook for about 10–15 minutes, turning occasionally until the pork is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Serve:
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with lemon wedges or your favorite dipping sauce.
