Florida Camel Rider Sandwich Recipe




Ingredients

  • For the Sandwich
    • 1 large pita bread (or two smaller ones)
    • 4 ounces lunch meat (such as turkey, ham, or roast beef)
    • 2 ounces sliced provolone or mozzarella cheese
    • 2 tablespoons Italian dressing
    • Optional: lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, or other desired toppings

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pita:
    • If using a large pita, cut it in half to create pockets. If using smaller pitas, keep them whole.
  2. Layer the Ingredients:
    • Inside each pita pocket, layer the lunch meat and cheese. Add any additional toppings like lettuce or tomatoes as desired.
  3. Add Dressing:
    • Drizzle Italian dressing inside the pita over the meat and cheese.
  4. Serve:
